Every year the youth of the Brazilian community comes together for a Retreat of Orientation in the Catholic Faith (C.O.R.). This year’s retreat happened in October, where over 70 youth came together to learn about their faith, have a deeper encounter with our Lord and meet many new friends, it was truly a blessing. As custom, following the retreat a day of recollection takes place a month later, where all of those who were at the retreat and others who have participated in previous years unite for a day of prayer, talks, music, joy and fraternity. This year’s Post-C.O.R. retreat took place on Sunday, November 23rd  at the house of the Daughters of Saint Paul in Jamaica Plain, Boston, MA where over 50 youth reunited with their friends and gave continuity to the wonderful works started at the C.O.R. retreat starting with a Mass celebrated by Father Michael Harrington, and followed by music and activities , and talks given by Anderson and Leile Andrade and Juliana Silva.

After one of the talks the youth was invited to fully hand themselves to God in this dynamic activity of standing up on the chairs and letting God take the lead.

50 plus youth united to praise God at the House of the Daughters of Saint Paul in Jamaica Plain.

At lunch time, where some of the workers from the retreat, Gleisyanne, Leticia and Olivia share a meal with some of the participants of the retreat.
