Chinese Community St. James Boston New Year February 22, 2015

On the morning of February 22, 2015 the Chinese Catholic Community of St.James in Boston gathered to celebrate the start of the Chinese New Year.

The celebrations began with a beautiful Mass presided by Cardinal Sean O’Malley and concelebrated by Fr. Peter Shen, Chaplin to Chinese Catholic Community and Fr. Joe Baggetta, Parochial Vicar of St. James Church in Boston.

Following Mass, all headed to the Parish Center to enjoy different dishes of food, singing, and dancing presentations by the children and youth of the Chinese Parish Community. Fr. Michael Harrington, Director for the Office of Outreach and Cultural Diversity attended the reception.
