Noche Cultural 2012 at St. Mary’s in Waltham

Dancing, Music, Food and Fun, all with an international flavor was the Extravaganza that took place last week at St. Mary’s in Waltham. It was such a great time for everyone. There were plenty of smiles to go around. St. Mary’s in Waltham has an English speaking youth group, an Hispanic youth group and a Ugandan youth group. In the past each of these groups has put together concerts, plays, retreats, festivals and more. Below are some pictures of the festival which just took place.

I am particularly grateful to Leiri Ruiz who acted as Master of Ceremonies for the Gala. Leiri and Gustavo Bocanegro Perez serve on our Archdiocesan Young Adult Council. Another great highlight of the night was when Raju Thekaekara came out of retirement and sang with his daughter Maria. It was one of the most touching moments of the night for me. Congratulations St. Mary’s!!
